主讲课程：《材料力学性能》、《材料加工机械设计》、《材料成形机械设计原理》、《材料性能学》
实践教学：负责本科生认识实习、生产实习、毕业实习，负责材型专业综合实验
研究生培养：培养20位硕士研究生和2位博士研究生
专业建设：制定和修订材型专业2015版教学计划、 协助建立和管理材型专业双基实验室 、 协助完善材型专业实验室
学生指导：指导本科生参加SIT 、指导本科生参加全国金相技能大赛、指导本科生参加机械创新设计大赛、指导本科生参加工程训练技能大赛
师德育人：提升自我，完善自我、加强自身的师德建设、能做到心中有学生、践行以学生为中心、积极组织和参与学生活动、重视学生实践能力的提升
《材料力学性能》2019年获湖南大学品牌课程。《材料力学性能》获批湖南省2020年线上线下混合一流课程建设。
