哈维·曼斯菲尔德教授于1953年取得哈佛大学学士学位，1961年取得博士学位，并留校执教至今，现任哈佛大学政府学系William R. Kenan, Jr.教授。他曾获得2004年的“国家艺术及人文奖章”，并为美国全国人文学基金会2007年杰斐逊讲座做过演讲。 　　Harvey C. Mansfield received his A.B. at Harvard in 1953, Ph.D. from the same institution in 1961 and serves as William R. Kenan, Jr., Professor of Government now. He also received the National Humanities Medal in 2004 and delivered the Jefferson Lecture for National Endowment for the Humanities in 2007.
