个人简介

Sue Hopkins graduated from the Exeter University Medical Imaging program in 2009. During her degree she developed a keen interest in research and continued at Exeter undertaking her PhD, supported by a grant awarded by the Society and College of Radiographers Industry Partnership Scheme (CORIPS). Sue is an HCPC registered radiographer and, following a year as a post-doctoral research fellow, now works as a lecturer on the Medical Imaging program and also supports clinical staff undertaking their doctorate in clinical research. Her key research area is in the use of current & innovative imaging techniques to research & diagnose changes in bone quantity, quality, morphology and mechanical properties. She has a particular interest in the pathologies of osteopenia, osteoporosis and osteoarthritis alongside the orthopaedic surgical techniques associated with degenerative bone conditions.
