个人简介

Marcela graduated in Teaching Biology and Physical Education (MSc) from University of West Bohemia, Plzen, Czech Republic in 2003. She returned to study for her MSc in Sport and Health Sciences at Exeter in 2008. In January 2015, Marcela was awarded PhD in The Acute Effects of Physical Activity in Smoking at University of Exeter. Marcela joined Evidence Synthesis & Modelling for Health Improvement (ESMI) as Associate Research Fellow in Systematic Reviewing in January 2013. She has became Research Fellow in 2015. The current role allows Marcela to advance her interest in evidence synthesis. 研究领域

Marcela‘s research interest is in using secondary data to update and inform health policy and practice, and to formulate new research questions. She has a particular interest in participants’ level characteristics and the use of multi-level modeling and Individual Participants Data (IPD) meta-analyses in evidence synthesis; e.g.to identify patients who may and may not benefit from an intervention, or to investigate a prospective moderators and mediators of an intervention effect.
