个人简介

PhD (2015, Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry) in ‘An evaluation of methods for eliciting expert opinion in health technology assessment’ BSc (2006, "Spiru Haret" University, Bucharest, Romania ) in Psychology-Sociology MSc (2005) in Cognitive-behavioural Psychotherapies BM (2000, “Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Bucharest, Romania) Career After graduating from the medical school, I remained at the university as a demonstrator in health psychology, while also conducting a number of qualitative studies on health topics involving both clinicians and patients. For the next eight years, I worked as an EU advisor on pharmaceutical policy for the Romanian Ministry of Health. This included everything from pharmaceutical regulations to pricing and reimbursement policies, and the development and validation of model-based cost-effectiveness analyses of medicines and medical devices. I have now returned to the academia, with an interest on methodological exploration of health technology assessment, and especially the use of expert opinion in model-based economic evaluations.
