Vicki is a physiotherapist, specialising in the care of older people and community rehabilitation, in particular fall prevention and Parkinson’s. She has worked clinically in the South Devon area since 1995 until 2006 when she was awarded an NIHR Researcher Development Award to undertake a PhD at PCMD. However, she continues to have an honorary clinical role with Torbay and South Devon Health Care Trust. In 2015 she was made a fellow of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy for ‘significant contribution to the development of services for older people and contribution to the advancement of the physiotherapy profession’. 2015 Fellow of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy 2011 PhD Medical Studies (PCMD) 2000 MSc Healthcare (Exeter) 1995 BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy (Salford)
