研究领域

My research centres on understanding the molecular basis for activities essential to the pathogenic process of micro-organisms. I employ a wide range of experimental tools to gain a fuller picture of the role of each protein in these processes, and the interactions of proteins with ligands from either the micro-organism or the host. I have a strong interest in using Synthetic Biology to improve our understanding of microbial pathogenesis and to drive the production of novel treatments.
