The aim of the Byrne research lab is the production and characterisation of challenging proteins for downstream applications, with major emphasis on structural characterisation. The laboratory is a modern, well equipped molecular biology and protein purification facility. We also have access to a state of the art bioreactor laboratory for large scale protein production and state-of-the-art crystallisation robots.
