Our research interests are in the area of functional nanomaterials that address environmental and energy challenges (e.g., water treament, CO2 capture and conversion, gas separation and sensing). Following this vision, we tune the texture and chemistry of novel materials at the nano-scale to enhance their adsorptive and reactive properties. The materials we study include: Graphite Oxide, Metal-Organic Frameworks, Carbon Nitride, Boron Nitride and Nanocolloids.
