个人简介
I originally started my career in pharmacy as a technician in hospital before studying to be a Pharmacist at Liverpool John Moores University.
Following graduation, I completed my pre-registration year in hospital and continued to work as a clinical pharmacist in hospital. I also practice as a pharmacist in community at weekends. Having realised that I enjoyed the training and educating side of my job I joined the School of Pharmacy at Manchester.
I came to the University of Huddersfield in January 2006 to help develop and deliver the MPharm degree programme and Foundation degree for technicians in Medicines Management and Pharmacy Services. In addition to teaching, I am the Admissions Tutor for the MPharm and Pharmaceutical Science degree and am currently studying for an MSc in Social Research and Evaluation (see research page)
In my spare time I enjoy travel, reading, socialising with friends as well as DIY (which is mainly the wifes idea) and am a massive 007 fan. Musically I love to groove to indie rock, and shamefully cheesy pop!

I was awarded a £5000 training bursary from the Pharmacy Practice Research Trust (PPRT) in the August 2008. This will allow me to undertake an MSc in Social Research and Evaluation. It is my aim to explore the the general publics' views of the pharmacy profession for my dissertation and hopefully develop this further towards a PhD.
This MSc will give me the skills and knowledge to be able to undertake my own research and contribute to my teaching role and supervision of undergraduate projects.
It is the aim of the PPRT to develop research capacity in Pharmacy Practice and I am grateful to them for supporting me in developing my skills and enhancing my career.
