个人简介

Enes Šupuk is a Lecturer in Chemical Engineering at the University of Huddersfield. He graduated in Chemical Engineering from the University of Leeds in 2005, and subsequently obtained a PhD from the same university in 2009 under the supervision of Professor Mojtaba Ghadiri. He then worked for Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) in collaborative partnership with the University of Leeds for two years before joining the University of Huddersfield in 2011 as a Research Fellow. His research focused on investigating the scope for direct compression for tableting and variability of the dosage forms by developing an electrostatic portfolio for BMS in-house compounds. Enes's current research activities focus on understanding the electrostatic phenomena in particulate systems. He also contributes to undergraduate chemical engineering course teaching chemical engineering design, multiphase systems and particle technology.

研究领域

Enes has been working in recent years on tribo-electric charging of materials, developing a charge measurement device to quantify the level of surface charge to generate better tools for controlling electrostatic charging. He has been actively working in the following research areas: Flowability of powders using Dietmar Schulze annular shear cell to investigate powder flow and hopper design Shear deformation effect on electrostatic properties of powders Powder segregation induced by tribo-electric charging Distinct Element Method (DEM) to predict the charge built up inside the electrostatic device Electrical resistivity, cohesion and adhesion properties of materials Dispersion of powders for quantification of electrostatic charge Powder compaction and its relationship with electrostatic charge Crystallisation and particle engineering Formulation development
