个人简介

After leaving school, Pam attended St Mary’s Sixth Form College in Middlesbrough. She then began work in a pathology laboratory in Middlesbrough General Hospital, as a Biomedical Science Technician. Pam gained an ONC in Biomedical Sciences, at Longlands College of Further Education and an HNC in Biological and Biomedical Sciences at Northumbria University. Pam then became a Science Technician in local schools and started working with the Gifted and Talented students, before becoming the Gifted and Talented Student Mentor. In 2000, Pam joined Durham University as the Anatomy Technician. Since 2004, Pam has been teaching on both the Anatomy and Clinical Skills components of the course and from October 2008 she is the Teaching Fellow in Anatomy. Any spare time, is spent prosecting specimens for teaching, which she says is her favourite part of the job. Another of Pam’s roles involves Widening Participation, and you might have met her as she is involved with many local sixth form colleges. Pam is actively involved in Medical Education Research within the department and is a CETL (Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning) fellow
