个人简介
先后在Journal of Neuroscience、PNAS 和Nature等刊物上发表论文二十篇。
于2005年在爱丁堡大学神经科学系获得博士学位。之后分别在哈佛大学和爱丁堡大学开展博士后研究。他于2012年正式加入南京大学模式动物研究所建立神经退行与神经发育相关疾病实验室。实验室的长期目标是阐明老年痴呆症和小颅畸形等疾病发病的分子机制。实验室主要采用小鼠遗传学、分子生物学、细胞和行为神经科学等多学科技术来研究上述科学问题。发现这些神经系统相关疾病病发的分子机制有助于找到新的治疗靶点用于预防和治疗。
研究领域
陈贵泉实验室长期从事神经退行疾病和神经发育缺陷疾病的发病机理的研究。临床研究的证据表明老年痴呆症和小颅畸形症的产生与γ-secretase信号通路及PI3I-Akt信号通路有密切的遗传学联系。我们主要以分子生物学和小鼠遗传学等手段研究早老素和早老素相关蛋白,以及PDK1和Akt等PI3K通路上的基因调控神经干细胞增殖分化、调控大脑皮层发育以及调节成年大脑内神经元存活的分子细胞机制
