Polymer Science Group Tailoring the chemical structure of materials offers the possibility to skillfully control materials properties. Polymers, more than any other material, provide the ability to fine-tune their properties (thermal, mechanical, optical, electrical, etc.). Polymers are also the key material in a range of nanometer scale structures and are one of the major players in the nanotechnology revolution.
