个人简介

Jennifer has been a lecturer in the Department of Clinical Sciences at Brunel University London since 2013 and a senior lecturer since October 2016. Her first degree was a BSc (Hons) in physiotherapy which she completed in Trinity College Dublin. She received a postgraduate diploma in statistics from Trinity College Dublin in 2011 and a PhD from Trinity College Dublin in 2014. Her PhD investigated the relationship between physical activity, cardiometabolic risk factors and physical fitness in adults and children with cerebral palsy. She became a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in 2015.

研究领域

Jennifer's research interests lie in the area of physical activity and exercise for people with neurological conditions. Specific areas of interest include: - Physical activity levels and physical fitness among people with neurological conditions - The prevalence of chronic conditions among people with cerebral palsy - Interventions to increase physical activity and participation among people with neurological conditions - Validation of measures of physical activity
