Ageing bodies; daily lives; ageing and ethnicity; perspectives on health, ‘risk’ and ageing; growing older in transnational communities; perceptions and experiences of dementia; visual images and risk; emotions, gender and ageing; 'neurocultures' and ageing; perceptions of safety and security; and care and caring. My key methodological approach is qualitative, participatory and involves the development and use of visual research methods.
