Emma Turner received her BSc Hons from the University of Canterbury, in Christchurch, New Zealand before completing her PhD at Victoria University of Wellington under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Paul Teesdale-Spittle and Dr Joanne Harvey. This was followed by post-doctoral positions with Dr Nicholas Westwood at the University of St Andrews (2008-2009) and Prof. Stephen Husbands at the University of Bath (2009-2012). Emma has been the Course Manager for the BCS DTC since June 2012
