个人简介

I completed a B.Sc. in Biology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2008), followed by an M.Sc. in Biodiversity at the University of Barcelona (2009). During my master’s degree, I worked in the Arthropod Systematics and Evolution lab under the supervision of Miquel A. Arnedo, studying the molecular systematics and phylogeographic patterns of an Iberian group of springtails. Subsequently I started a Ph.D. in the Institute of Evolutionary Biology of Barcelona (2014), supervised by Professor Xavier Belles. During my PhD I tried to address questions related to the origin and evolution of insect metamorphosis. In 2015, I obtained a Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowship in the University of Bristol. My postdoc with Davide Pisani is focused on the origins and early evolution of arthropods
