个人简介
网络空间安全学院，教授，博士生导师，ACM会员， CCF会员，IEEE高级会员。2002年-2006年在华中科技大学提高班，获学士学位。2006年-2008年在华中科技大学，获得硕士学位。2008年-2011年在美国佐治亚理工学院，电子与计算机工程学院, 获工学博士学位，研究基于人工智能方法的网络大数据安全。2011年6月至2013年5月，在美国波士顿地区，美国甲骨文公司，担任Oracle云平台中的大数据分析与刷新算法研究员。自2013年6月起,在华中科技大学任教。周教授师从国际信息安全权威，IEEE Fellow，佐治亚理工学院讲座教授，John Copeland博士。Copeland博士创立了LANcope, Inc.公司，目前被美国Cisco公司收购。他发明的StealthWatch 网络安全检测系统，目前为超过100家的政府、企业、国防网络提供服务。

2017年获得华中科技大学“科技新星”。2020年，获25届国际模式识别大会25th International Conference on Pattern Recognition (ICPR2020)“最佳科学论文奖”。他的主要研究兴趣包括：大数据安全与隐私保护、人工智能安全、边缘计算与物联网安全。在教学方面，面向本科生、研究生讲授《在线机器学习》，《深度学习》，《强化学习》，《无线网络安全》和《人工智能安全》等课程。周教授指导多名本科生、研究生去世界知名大学攻读博士学位，例如： 美国佐治亚理工学院（3人）、达特茅斯学院（1人）、普渡大学（1人） 、美国加州大学圣芭芭拉大学（1人）、里海大学（1人）、英国爱丁堡大学（1人），明尼苏达大学（1人 ）、西北大学（1人）、赖斯大学（1人），弗吉利亚大学（2人），明尼苏达大学（1人），北卡大学（1人），戴维斯加州大学（1人），德州大学奥斯汀分校（1人），香港大学（1人），新加坡国立大学（2人），新加坡南洋理工大学（1人），香港科技大学（1人），香港大学（1人），等等。指导多名研究生毕业去百度、阿里、京东、腾讯、360、华为研究院等国内知名大数据技术与信息安全企业工作，担任高级研发工作，有广阔的职业发展前景。
