Asma Yahyouche gained an MPharm (Hons) from The School of Pharmacy, University of Nottingham in 2007 and completed her pre-registration training with Knights Pharmacy in 2011. Once registered as pharmacist, she was appointed as a pharmacist manager for Knights Pharmacy. She is spending most of her community pharmacy experience managing a dynamic pharmacy, where she has developed good working practices with local GP surgeries and other healthcare professionals. Since 2012, Asma has been acting as a pre-registration pharmacist trainee program coordinator for Knights Pharmacy including recruitment, interviewing, training program development, practice-based project supervision and mentoring. She continued her Academic development through a DPhil degree at the University of Oxford. Asma has been actively involved in community health initiatives and public health. She has provided mentoring and tutoring for other community pharmacy team members such trainee dispensers and healthcare assistants. In 2013 Asma joined the College of Medical and Dental Science. She will be using her experience in community pharmacy and academia to link learning and development to Clinical Pharmacy Practice.
