孙佳婧的主要研究方向为计量经济学，例如：计数数据自回归模型，研究成果应用于排队人数，罢工人数，期货市场交易合同数等分析。此外，她的其他研究兴趣还包括金融学以及经济学理论与实证研究。 孙佳婧总共发表文章10篇，其中ABS3*4篇，SSCI、SCI 索引4篇，EI检索3篇，一篇论文SSCI核心期刊录用，并提前在线发表（https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/abs/10.1177/2399654418791580 ）。除此之外，孙佳婧还参与了多本图书编纂、并为著名出版社做过编辑、校对工作。
