BE with First Class Honours (UK first class MEng equivalent) in Chemical and Materials Engineering, University of Auckland PhD in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, Imperial College London, 2001 Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice, University of Auckland, 2009 Darrell returned to the University of Auckland in 2005 where he worked as a Lecturer and Senior Lecturer in the Department of Chemical and Material Engineering. He joined the University of Bath in 2011.
