Biomaterials for contact lenses development and properties improvement synthesis, characterization, nanopatterning and functionalization with peptides and biomolecules of new biomaterials: hydrogels, nanogels, nanoparticles, polymeric films, porous scaffolds, etc. In vitro studies: citotoxicity, biocompatibility and biodegradation of polymeric materials. Controlled drug release studies from synthetic matrices.
