MEng Chemical Engineering, 2006 Master in Experimental Chemical Engineering, 2007 PhD (with Honors) in Chemical Engineering, 2012 2016 – Present: Lecturer in Chemical Engineering, Engineering and Applied Science School, Aston University. 2014 – 2016: Lecturer in Chemical Engineering, School of Applied Sciences, University of Huddersfield. 2013 – 2014: Postdoctoral Research Assistant, School of Applied Sciences, University of Huddersfield. 2011 – 2013: Assistant Professor in Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Chemistry, University of Barcelona. 2007 – 2011: Research and teaching grant/contract for PhD research, Chemical Engineering Department, Faculty of Chemistry, University of Barcelona.

研究领域

My research area has largely focused on heterogeneous porous materials to catalyse reactions producing gasoline and diesel fuels, and to incorporate bioethanol in refinery streams. I have expertise in reaction engineering, heterogeneous catalysis, kinetic modelling, porous material characterisation, and the design and start-up of experimental continuous and batch reactor devices. My research area is focused in development of catalysts for industry, from catalyst synthesis to close-to-operational testing in two important areas of chemical engineering: green chemistry and sustainability.
