His main areas of interest are in sociology of education with a focus on policy processes and social class equalities. His ongoing research project focuses on the rural migrant children’s education and social mobility in urban China. He is MA Module Leader of ‘Multidisciplinary and International Perspectives on Education’ (taught in English).
