紧密围绕车辆工程、航空航天、特种装备、地质装备和新能源汽车等领域。长期涉及机械结构轻量化设计、航空航天与汽车结构碰撞吸能、结构抗弹冲击、仿生结构设计、拓扑优化、碳纤维3D打印、有限元仿真模拟、先进碳纤维复合材料结构设计与制造、复合材料损伤力学、多尺度损伤建模、微纳界面增韧、复合材料结构修复技术、机械零部件先进连接技术等相关研究工作。
