研究领域

1. 金属材料组织性能的表征与调控 目前,金属材料在航空、航天及国民经济各个高技术领域仍然是需求量最大的材料。随着航空和航天事业的发展,以及新材料的不断涌现,对铝合金、钛合金及高温合金等传统材料提出了更高的要求。对于这些材料的研究,目前已经从组织性能的定性表征和成分工艺的试验设计,逐步走向材料制备加工和服役过程模拟计算设计和组织结构的定量表征。这种转变一方面可以减少试验研究的周期,实现快速制造,同时可以真正与先进制造技术相结合,实现数字化制造。 在金属材料组织性能定量表征研究方向上主要针对的材料体系为铝合金和高温合金,主要研究内容包括: (1)材料在多场作用下微观组织和性能演化规律的定量表征 (2)材料微观组织和性能的之间定量关系的建立 (3)材料微观组织和性能演化物理模型和数学模型建立 (4)材料组织与性能的调控 上述研究内容涉及到物理学、力学、计算机和数学等各领域的基本基础知识和先进分析测试方法。同时,本研究方向属于材料基础研究。通过试验研究和模拟计算,本研究将获得上述材料体系最基本的热力学、动力学数据,以及各种外场参数作用下材料参数的变化规律,这将为材料设计和工艺设计奠定良好的理论基础。另外,组织和性能之间定量关系的建立,将对工艺设计和优化起到直接的指导作用。因此,本研究方向既具有理论意义,又具有工程价值。 2. 导体/绝缘体金属陶瓷的设计、制备及应用 导体/绝缘体金属陶瓷是导电金属或合金与一种或几种陶瓷相构成的多相复合体,它会使原始组元材料的某些特性增强,或者产生原始组元所不具备的综合性能。以金属相为基体时,所添加的陶瓷相在不会明显降低基体导电特性的前提下,起到骨架支撑和弥散强化效果,例如,新型电接触材料。以陶瓷相为基体时,如果金属相含量低于逾渗门槛值,通过金属相颗粒尺寸的调整可以实现材料介电特性的调控,例如存储器材料;如果金属相含量超过逾渗门槛值,材料具有金属导电性,可用于高温导电环境。因此,通过成分和组织调控,可以在较宽范围内调整金属陶瓷性能,从而设计和制备出可满足不同服役环境需求的先进材料。导电金属陶瓷的在国民经济和国防技术领域应用日益广泛,其中最具有代表性的是低压电器行业用电接触材料、航天领域高温导电部件、电解铝惰性阳极材料以及超高温热电偶材料等。 导体/绝缘体金属陶瓷材料属于非均质材料,其组织和性能的对应关系需借助逾渗理论和分形方法来表征。逾渗理论和分形方法在天文、地理、艺术和自然科学领域都有广泛的应用,但在材料学中的应用才刚刚开始起步,且其本身也需要进一步完善。因此,导体/绝缘体金属陶瓷基本组织和性能的表征,既可以促进逾渗理论本身的发展,也会丰富分形方法的实践。 导体/绝缘体金属陶瓷材料制备普遍采用粉末冶金方法,属于快速近净成形的先进制造方法之一。因此,导电金属陶瓷成分优化和致密化工艺研究,将为粉末冶金技术的发展提供丰富的数据。 目前在该研究方向上所研究的材料体系主要包括:电解铝惰性阳极用Cu/Cu2O金属陶瓷材料、低压电器用铜基电接触材料及无氧陶瓷基超高温热电偶材料等。对于这些材料体系主要设置以下研究子方向: (1)导电金属陶瓷成分优化和致密化工艺研究 (2)导电金属陶瓷微观组织分形表征方法研究 (3)导电金属陶瓷逾渗行为及机理研究 3. 极端环境下材料损伤行为及机理研究 太空已经成为继陆地、海洋、天空之后的人类新的开发领域,而且是未来人类最重要的新技术领域。空间环境对卫星材料提出了更高的要求。因此,必须对极端环境下材料的损伤行为进行深入研究,从而为卫星的设计、加固和毁伤评估奠定理论基础,同时也将为新型航天器的研制提供参考。 根据试验条件,目前本研究方向的所涉及的极端环境因素主要包括:γ-射线、质子、中子、电子、激光及高速里子撞击等。具体研究内容包括: (1)辐照环境下损伤效应及防护机理研究 (2)辐照环境下损伤效应的计算机模拟技术研究 (3)高速粒子撞击条件下材料种损伤行为行为
