研究领域

My research spans many aspects of mammalian development and reproduction, often in the light of evolution. Much of my current work focuses on the early embryo – the differentiation of early lineages, placental tissues, asymmetries and stem cells. I also use bioinformatics to identify novel genes and mechanisms in marsupial development and reproduction, many of which reveal links between humans and their distant vertebrate ancestors.
