面向解决飞行器设计、EDA等领域自主高性能仿真软件缺位的“卡脖子”需求,深入开展了相关的数字化方法与高性能计算方法研究,主持包括国家数值风洞工程首个软件招标课题在内的国家级项目20余项,在仿真建模的关键难题——网格自动与并行生成以及高性能空气动力学仿真技术等方面取得多项创新性成果,自主研发了具有国内领先水平的网格生成软件与带动边界流场计算软件,成果与软件成功应用于航天科工、航天科技、工物院、气动中心等科研院所、国家超算无锡中心等重点基地,研究工作支撑了两项国家重大科技专项和多个装备重点型号的关键技术攻关,多次保障了重点型号试飞任务的顺利完成。
获省部级一等奖2项,二等奖1项,国家重要人才项目获得者,获国际华人计算力学学会优秀青年学者奖;著有领域首部中文专著,英文专著交付剑桥大学出版社出版;发表论文80余篇;授权发明专利及软件著作权二十余项。
