研究领域

My research expertise lies in the area of Solution Chemistry. I have designed and carried out accurate measurements for the physicochemical characterisation of electrolyte solutions using potentiometric, densimetric, viscosimetric, isopiestic and calorimetric methods. I also have extensive experience in solubility measurements, using specialised and purpose-built apparatus to study stable and metastable solubility equilibria of ionic solids in aqueous systems. I also have considerable expertise in biomineralisation, especially in physicochemical aspects of the formation of kidney stones. Since my return to Murdoch University, I have participated in research projects supported by BHP Billiton, Alcoa, AMIRA, Jaguar Nickel, CSIRO and Parker Centre.
