个人简介
Bruce Knickerbocker has been Associate Professor of Translation Studies at Beijing Normal University and Hong Kong Baptist University, United International College (UIC), and Assistant Professor of Chinese Studies and Comparative Literature at both Northwestern University and Bard College in the United States. Professor Knickerbocker completed his Ph.D. at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. His dissertation focuses on Sima Qian’s 司马迁 historiography, philosophy and use of source materials in the Shiji史记. He has published on Sima Qian and his Shiji, in addition to works in language pedagogy and Tang and Song dynasty literature. He is very happy to be at HITSZ and offer courses in English language and literature, comparative Chinese literature, translation. comparative linguistics and cultural studies.
