个人简介
方道元,男,1958年4月出生。1982年1月获浙江师范大学理学学士,92年7月获复旦大学理学博士学位。之后在浙江大学数学系任教。期间98年在法国巴黎第十三大学作博士后研究。99年7月至今任浙江大学数学系教授,博士生导师,高等数学研究所所长。是浙江省新世纪“151”人才(二层次)。2001年获国家教学成果2等奖一次(排名第3)。14年获得首届浙江大学唐立新优秀学者奖。14年作为团队的负责人获得了教育部高校科技进步优秀成果自然科学二等奖。16年相继被评为浙江大学“三育人”标兵,和浙江省优秀教师。18年获浙江大学优秀导学团队。已编著出版《数学建模》、《非线性波动方程》、《常微分方程》、《变粘性Navier-Stokes方程组》等书籍。
人才培养:
已经培养毕业博士生19人,其中第一个博士张挺就获得了08年全国优秀博士学位论文提名奖,第二年毕业的3人中,王成波直接受聘于全球排名十多位的美国约翰霍普金斯大学数学系作助理教授,他们分别获得第一和第二批中组部拔尖人才。徐江已经为南京航空航天大学的教授与博导,李太龙去经济学院做博士后,现为山东大学副教授。第三年毕业的博士生中钟思佳去法国巴黎11大作博士后,又获得日本的JSPS项目为期两年的资助,在京都大学与Y.Tsutsumi教授作合作研究,现是东南大学副教授。09年毕业的3位博士均去公司工作,从事数据挖掘等工作。10年毕业的2位博士生中的张启迪同时获得了法国巴黎第13大学的博士学位,之后去罗马大学作博士后,现是华东理工大学的副教授。吕小俊获两年的资助去西班牙zuazua的研究所作博士后研究,现在东南大学工作。11年毕业的3位博士生中谢剑同时获得了法国巴黎6大的博士学位,去杭师大工作,韩征是杭师大的副教授,在Schroedinger方程方面取得了重要进展。章林子在一家咨询公司工作。韩斌是杭州电子科技大学的副教授,潜陈印是浙师大的副教授,訾瑞昭是华中师大的副教授。陈辉和乐文俊在科技学院工作。
教学工作
一直以来,教学工作认真负责,治学严谨,效果较好。在早期上《微积分》的时候,我所教的班级统考成绩均在原水平上有很大的提高,学校给我王宽诚优秀教师奖就是对我这一成绩的肯定。是竺可桢学院《常微分方程》(乙)课程的主讲老师。还给本科生主讲《线性代数》,《数学建模》,《常微与偏微》,《常微分方程》(甲)。研究生的《微分方程理论及数值解》,《偏微分方程》,《非线性波动方程》,《非线性偏微分方程选讲》,《非线性Schrodinger方程》,《Navier-Stokes fhig》以及《现代分析技术与偏微分方程分析》等多门课程。
积极参加教学改革,作为主要成员参加了国家教委下达的《面向21世纪教学内容和课程体系改革》项目的子项目。负责完成了研究生院的《面向21世纪宫的研究生数学课程改革》项目。作为主要成员参与组建了浙江省数学建模赛区,培训浙江省的指导教师,为我省的数模竞赛事业做出了很大的贡献。与人合作的《数学建模》教材(89年出版)获浙江省重点教材建设项目。96年组建并指导了浙江大学代表队首次参与了“美国数学建模通讯赛”并获得了一个一等奖一个二等奖,为这个赛事在浙江大学的发展开了好头并奠定了基础。

研究与成果
多年来一直从事非线性偏微分方程分析的研究。研究领域广阔,涉及微局部分析、现代Fourier分析等应用于非线性波动方程、Schrodinger方程,Navier-Stokes方程等描述流体运动的数学理论的研究。自94年以来连续获得国家自然科学基金的资助。近年来他和其合作者在多个研究领域已作出了一系列重要的工作,部分成果已引起同行的重视,并被著名数学家C.Kenig,C.Sogge,D.Tataru和菲尔茨奖获得者T.Tao等人引用。如对高维Klein-Gordon方程的Cauchy问题,大大减弱了在无限远处同类研究(著名数学家Klainerman需要紧支集,Shatah需要快速下降)对初始条件的要求。在方法上突破了Fields奖获得者Bourgain方法所需的限制;对于波动方程方面,他们给出了线性波动方程解的全象征表示,与学生一起王成波解决了Klainerman 95年的一个有关Strichartz估计的一个猜想的同时证明了在某端点的不成成立性;之后他们通过引入角变量推广了著名的KSS估计,解决了低正则、低维的Strauss猜想;他们(与学生钟思佳)还对于一类经向初值的两个空间变量Zakharov系统在低于能量的空间中的整体存在性和破裂解的L^2集中现象作了研究,改进了Fields奖获得者Bourgain的一个存在性结果,并发现了系统破裂的一个特征;他们(与韩征、谢剑等)又对分数次Sobolev空间中非线性Schrodinger方程解的适定性,长时间形态等重要性质方面取得了一系列重要成果。解决了上世纪80年代遗留的几个基本而重要的问题如连续依赖性、无条件唯一性等;在紧流形上的Schrodinger方程解的Sobolev模的增长估计方面也取得了一些重要进展(与学生张启迪)。在流体力学的数学理论方面更是取得了一系列重要成果,发现了一个新的守恒律使得轴对称问题的结果取得了长足的进展(与学生张挺,陈辉,潜陈印等);最近,他们(与学生訾瑞昭等)对复杂流体的Oldroyd-B模型进行了研究并取得了重要成果。近年来经常应邀赴美国、法国、德国、意大利、比利时、日本、澳大利亚、新加坡以及我国的香港、台湾等地访问、讲学以及在众多的国际会议上作邀请报告。
