Christopher Farouk Hussain, Ph.D in Economics, is a lecturer of Finance in the Bangor College China (BCC). Born in Manchester, UK, he completed a degree in Economics and Finance at Keele University, in 2010, before enrolling at Bangor University for postgraduate studies. He completed his MSc in Finance in 2011 and obtained a Ph.D in Economics in 2017. His research focuses on the effects of government and fiscal decentralization on key policy areas, including absolute poverty and inequality, public healthcare and public education, and citizen trust in government. He is currently teaching Corporate Finance (year 3), Advanced Corporate Finance (year 4) and Financial Economics (year 4).
