[1] 在多准则群决策优化理论方面,提出了基于测评数据一致性的权重优化模型;提出了税收征管绩效外部集成测评理论。 [2] 在非线性优化理论和算法研究上取得了一系列研究成果,特别是关于线搜索技术和共轭梯度算法方面的研究成果已发表在国际有影响的学术期刊上,其中包括:《JOTA》,《J.Comput. Appl.Math.》,《Appl. Numer. Math.》,《Numer. Algor.》, 《Optimization》,《Appl.Math.Letter》,《Computer Mathematics and Applications》,等 [3] 关于多态不确定性优化理论与算法研究: a)对多生产商和销售商的供应链管理分散式决策问题构建了多态不确定均衡模型,提出了处理多态不确定性优化问题的柔性优化方法. b) 构建了机械传动系统设计优化问题的多态不确定数学规划模型,提出了该类模型的柔性优化方法. 相关研究成果发表在《Appl. Math. Model》、《Journal of Advanced Transportation》、《Journal of Mechanical Eng》、《Operational Research》上 [4] 全局优化方法研究: a)对法多项式优化问题提出了基于全局下降方向的全局极小化算法, 研究成果发表在《SIAM J. Optim.》,《Journal of Industrial and Management Optimization》上. b)对著名的不可分物体的分配中存在的悖论首次提出了参数化整数规划方法, 研究成果发表在SSCI检索期刊《Journal of Social Science》上.c)对V带和直齿圆柱齿轮传动设计优化问题, 提出了高效实用的全局优化算法,并发表在英国工程师协会会刊上。 [5] 供应链管理优化和机械结构设计优化:在国内外重要学术期刊(包括《Journal of Cleaner Production》,《Applied Mathematical Modeling》,《Journal of Mechanical Engineering Science》,《Optimization and Engineering》,《Journal of Industrial and Management Optimization》,《中国科学》等)发表高水平研究论文7篇。

曾获荣誉: 2007年入选教育部新世纪人才支持计划; 2001年入选湖南省青年骨干教师培养计划; 万中,男,2007年入选教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划。国际学术期刊《Numerical Algebra, Control and Optimization》 (NACO)编委,美国数学评论通讯评论员,湖南省骨干教师,中南大学运筹学与控制论二级学科带头人, 二级教授。在不确定优化、工业与管理优化、全局优化、非线性优化、均衡与均衡约束优化,无限维约束优化等研究领域进行了广泛深入的研究,积累了较丰富的研究经验,培养了优秀的博士和硕士研究生。已在国内外重要学术期刊发表论文110余篇,其中SCI/SSCI/EI检索论文80余篇,JCR 1区期刊(数学科学)论文12篇,2区期刊论文16篇。这些期刊包括《SIAM J.Optim.》、《Applied Mathematical Modelling》、《Journal of Cleaner Production》、《J.
