研究领域

My research interests lie in discipline-based Scholarship of Teaching and Learning where I have a consistent record of grants, publications and awards for teaching excellence. I pursue student engagement through interactive lecturing, blended learning, scenario-based mobile learning, and student-generated learning. I am a member of the International Association for Mobile Learning, the Australian & New Zealand Mobile Learning Group, the Australian Physiological Society (AuPS), the Higher Education Research and Development Society of Australia (HERDSA) and the UQ School of Biomedical Sciences Education Research Unit (ERU), and am internationally recognized for my work on active learning, and in the development of mobile learning applications in the biomedical sciences. Current research projects include: Student-generated multimedia including animations Scenario-based mobile learning
