研究领域

Online technology-based learning and engagement Dr Cheesman’s research interests concern the development of virtual and online computing technologies for use in student learning and improved lecturer feedback. Projects have included the design of a virtual laboratory class, and the use of digital ink in student examination and marking. Current work is based on the design and implementation of online learning modules that feature student achievement and leaderboards mixed with learning tasks that promote development and retention of knowledge.Cytochrome P450 Other ongoing projects involve collaborations with two external laboratory research groups studying the involvement of cytochrome P450 enzymes in the metabolism of insecticides and of medicinal plant compounds.
