Experimental Physical Chemistry/Nanoscience & Materials Chemistry/Environmental & Green Chemistry/

Our group’s research focus involves bridging the gap between the nanometer-length scale and the chemical and physical behavior of nanocrsytalline materials. We aim to link chemical reactivity with specific microstructural features of both natural and synthetic nanoparticles. Tools we use: Analytical chemistry methods, synthesis of nanocrystalline materials, materials characterization methods (e.g., high-resolution transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy, x-ray diffraction).
