Our chemistry projects are focused on catalytic chemistry, with applications ranging from energy-related conversions to green chemistry approaches for high-value chemical synthesis. Students in the Sadow group learn synthetic organometallic chemistry, catalytic methodology, and kinetics and mechanism. These skills are applied in new catalytic asymmetric hydroamination, hydrosilylation and hydroboration, polymerization, and cross-coupling reactions and new understandings of catalytic conversions.
