个人简介

余建东,男,博士,粤港澳中枢神经再生研究院副教授。2003年毕业于北京师范大学生命科学学院生物技术系,获理学学士学位;2009年毕业于中国科学院生物物理研究所,获生物物理学博士学位。2010至2015年在美国罗格斯大学新泽西医学院从事博后研究,主要研究癫痫发病机制,并获美国Epilepsy Foundation的fellowship。2015年加入暨南大学。 科研项目 1. 2017/1-2020/12 国家自然科学基金(面上基金),项目名:电突触在颞叶癫痫海马抑制性神经元死亡中的作用及其分子机制研究(81671288);资助金额:57万元。项目负责人。

研究领域

主要研究方向为癫痫,大脑损伤后的修复和亨廷顿舞蹈症,帕金森综合症以及阿尔兹海默症等神经退行性疾病的细胞转化治疗。
