个人简介
Antonio Mezzetti joined the Laboratory of Inorganic Chemistry of the ETH Zurich as Research Associate in 1995. He has been Lecturer of Inorganic Chemistry since 2001, and was awarded the title of Professor (Titularprofessor) at ETH Zurich in 2007.
Antonio Mezzetti was born on July 3, 1958 in Trieste (I), where he studied Chemistry at the local University. He joined the Chemistry Department of the University of Udine as Research Associate in 1986 and spent several sabbatical stays at the ETH Zurich collaborating with Prof. Giambattista Consiglio and the late Prof. Luigi M. Venanzi. In 1995, he left Italy and joined the Laboratory of Inorganic Chemistry of the ETH Zurich, where he developed independent research activities in Prof. Antonio Togni's group. His research interests span from coordination chemistry to homogeneous catalysis and focus on the synthesis of chiral complexes of late transition metals containing multidentate ligands and their application in asymmetric catalysis.
