现任华南理工大学材料科学与工程学院,教授,博士研究生导师, 院长,特种功能材料教育部重点实验室副主任; 2001.11~2002.3:日本新泻大学客座教授; 1995.5~2001.8: 日本八户工业大学和新泻大学土木系客座研究员,日本学术振兴会博士后研究员,助理研究员; 1993.12~1995.4: 武汉理工大学材料系,副教授; 1988.9~1993.11: 武汉理工大学材料系,讲师; 1986.9~1988.8: 武汉理工大学材料系,助教。
