在“光点击”化学反应中，利用两个高度环张力环融合在一起的策略，设计并合成了两代环丙烯亲偶极体，并且将其用到“光点击”生物正交化学反应中，提高10倍以上的反应动力学活性。利用其高活性且稳定的性质，首次合成ε-Sph赖氨酸衍生物，并将其用于基因编载重组蛋白质表达。实现超快速反应动力学并实现蛋白质残基的特定标记。这一系列的研究，在推进“光点击”生物正交反应在活体动物中的靶标分子的跟踪和操控研究项目中起到了中流砥柱承前启后的作用。
