个人简介

I undertook my undergraduate studies at UNE before completing my PhD at the CSIRO. Upon completion of my PhD I began teaching at UNE in the area of Molecular and Cellular Biology.

研究领域

Research Interests My research interests include stem cell biology and the determination of cell fate. I am interested in investigating how cell fate can be manipulated, with a focus on cellular reprogramming. One of my major interests is induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), which are differentiated cells that have been reprogrammed to behave like embryonic stem cells. I am also interested in using molecular methods in microbiology, for the analysis of soil bacterial communities and diagnosis/identification of soil borne pathogens.
