My current interests include exercise physiology and chronic disease, endocrinology (glucose metabolism and diabetes mellitus) and complementary therapies. My main aim in research is to contribute to translational research (from bench to application) in the area of Biomedical and Clinical Health Science, research which contributes to better treatment options for patients.
