Dr. Mariana Fuentes is a marine and conservation biologist, whose main research interests focus on conservation planning, natural resource management, and on climate change impacts on marine mega-fauna, especially marine turtles. She is currently undertaking a postdoctoral fellowship at the ARC Centre of Excellence for Coral Reef Studies to develop tools to systematically prioritize the management of marine mega-fauna under multiple threats, with the aim of enhancing allocation of limited resources.
