Jan Marten Huizenga’s main research interest is in the field of fluid-rock geochemistry. He is in particular interested in the geochemical changes associated with fluid-rock interaction processes in the lower crust and in hydrothermal systems. At present, he works on the thermodynamic aspects of graphite precipitation and on fluid-rock interaction in lower crustal rocks.
