Alison White is a cardiac sonographer with over 15 years experience in echocardiography, stress-echocardiography and non-invasive diagnostic cardiac testing. Alison has a special interest in the education and professional development of cardiac sonographers and biomedical science students, and is currently a senior lecturer at Griffith University. Alison has served as the convenor of the DMU preparation course for a number of years and is currently the secretary of the ASUM DMU Board of Examiners, involved in the organisation and co-ordination of the cardiac DMU examination process for cardiac sonographers in Australia and New Zealand.
