研究领域

依托天童野外观测中心、20公顷森林动态监测样地和天童幼苗控制实验平台,开展森林群落构建机制、物种多样性维持机制和生物多样性监测等相关研究。目前主要的研究方向为: 1. 森林群落多样性监测与保护:基于近地面遥感等方法,监测森林群落植物多样性时空格局,预测气候变化背景下植物多样性的变化趋势,探讨珍稀濒危植物的保护措施 2. 森林群落的结构与功能:基于长期每木定位调查,研究森林物种组成、三维结构和功能性状对森林生态系统功能的影响,探索森林植物多样性与生态系统功能协同提升的途径 3. 植物功能性状与物种共存:利用木本植物幼苗控制实验,检验植物功能性状的种内差异、种间差异与物种竞争和环境偏好的联系,探究基于功能性状的现代物种共存理论 研究问题: 课题组致力于回答如下两个问题: 1) 如何从个体空间位置信息、功能性状等角度定量描述植物物种的环境偏好、种内及种间竞争、物种分布、物种相对多度和群落多样性格局? 2) 为更好地定量研究上述问题,如何更快更大尺度地监测森林植物群落结构与动态?
