研究领域
My research interest is mainly focused on the thioredoxin system, a key antioxidant defence system that protects cells from the damage caused by reactive oxygen species (ROS) and that has been implicated in many cellular processes. Currently we are investigating the role mediated by thioredoxin and thioredoxin reductase in cancer cells under hypoxic stress and the cross talk between the hypoxic and redox systems in the cancer cell environment.
Development and implementation of innovative and non-traditional practices of teaching and learning in laboratory courses, including the use of blended learning methodology, a combination of traditional practice of teaching and technology based material in laboratory courses.
