研究领域

(1)微型底栖动物生态学 海岸带生态系统受到自然环境梯度和人为干扰(如重金属污染、富营养胁迫、外来物种入侵等)的多重压力,面临生境退化和生物多样性丢失的困境。评估人类活动对海岸带生物多样性格局以及生态系统功能的影响,对于制定海岸带生态系统的保护和修复策略具有重要意义。本工作以处于底栖食物网枢纽环节的单细胞微型动物(原生动物)为研究客体:微型底栖动物个体微小(20-200μm)且分布广泛,主要以细菌、微藻和碎屑为食,在微食物网处于从pico-和nano-级向后生动物传递物质和能量的枢纽环节。由于其体表保护性不完善且繁殖周期短,对环境变化较多细胞动物更为敏感,因此其群落结构具有良好的环境指示作用。本工作主要针对潮间带(湿地和沙滩)微型底栖动物群落的时空分布格局进行研究,以揭示其群落结构对海岸带环境变化(如富营养胁迫、重金属污染、互花米草入侵、盐沼植被生态修复等)的响应。 (2)微型动物生物地理学 近年来对微型动物大尺度分布格局及限制因子的研究是生物地理学领域的研究热点。国际上对微型动物的分布格局一直存在两个观点:一种是认为相较于大型动物,微型动物由于极高的种群密度,因而扩散不受限制,全球分布,仅受环境条件的限制;而另一种观点则认为微型动物和大型动物一样,其分布受到扩散距离和环境条件的双重限制。本研究结合野外样品采集和数据库收集,采用变异拆分分析方法对大尺度的微型底栖动物群落beta多样性的限制因子进行探究。
